One of the most recorded musicians in jazz history with over 2,000 sessions as leader and sideman is Ron Carter. He is a bass player and composer and hell bring his quartet to Royce Hall on the campus of UCLA on October 27 at 8pm. Carter has been on the jazz scene for almost 6 decades. He was part of the Miles Davis Quintet which featured Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Tony Williams.
