The first is a duo of Peter Br\u00f6tzmann, the veteran German saxophonist rightly revered in free-jazz circles, and Jason Adasiewicz, an expressive young vibraphonist; their most recent New York gig, at the 2011 Vision Festival, provided the source material for a new album, \u201cGoing All Fancy\u201d (Br\u00f6), that will be available at the show. As for Josh Abrams, he\u2019s a multi-instrumentalist who looks far and wide for sonic inspiration, and he\u2019ll draw here from \u201cRepresencing\u201d (Eremite), an album due out in October, featuring the resourceful drummer Chad Taylor.
